Decatur

Founded in 1823, Decatur is only six miles northeast of Downtown Atlanta, but this dynamic city of 22,000 enjoys a unique history and eclectic style all its own. Occupying an area of just over four-square miles, the city of Decatur is often considered to be much larger as there are multiple zip codes in unincorporated DeKalb County that bear the Decatur name. Similar to Atlanta, Decatur is a city of smaller neighborhoods, each with their own distinct look and feel.
