Born and raised in the heart of the Midwest—Kansas City, Missouri—Christi's journey has been one marked by dedication, service, and a deep appreciation for community.
Service has always been a core value for Christi. She proudly served her country as an Army veteran, then transitioned to protecting her community, dedicating over two decades to public safety. Christi ultimately retired as a respected Phoenix Police Officer, a career that honed her skills in communication, negotiation, and unwavering integrity—qualities that are invaluable to her real estate clients today.
Trading the Sonoran Desert for the tranquil beauty of Appalachia, Christi found her true calling and forever home in Blue Ridge, Georgia. She fell in love with the rolling hills, pristine lakes and rivers and tight-knit communities that define the region. Her passion for the area is genuine, rooted in a deep love for the North Georgia mountains and the quality of life offered. Christi quickly jumped in with both feet, becoming a Board Member of Open Arms Home for Children and an Ambassador with the Fannin County Chamber. Following her husband, Michael's retirement, the couple launched a joint real estate venture, Decoufle Mountain Properties, proudly partnering with Ansley's Real Estate/ Christies International.
Christi's passion for food and travel is rivalled only by her genuine enthusiasm for meeting new people. She believes that experiencing new cultures and landscapes is the best education life offers. Drawing on years of public service, she excels at building rapport and understanding individual stories.
