Larry Vaughan grew up in Franklin, Michigan just outside of Detroit with his 4 brothers including an Identical twin. He attended Western Michigan University on a golf scholarship and upon graduation with a bachelor's degree in business administration he joined IBM in Indianapolis and spent more than a decade there. He went on to work for several other technology companies during his career, 3 times serving as the companies Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
Larry currently lives in Reynolds Lake Oconee and has been an owner there since January of 2001 and a full-time resident since 2010. He also is a member of Cuscowilla Golf Club. Larry still plays competitive golf around the State & Country and has qualified to play in 10 USGA Championships and most recently won the Super Senior Championship in both the 2021 Golf Association of Michigan Senior Match Play Championship as well as the 2021 Georgia Senior Open.
Larry also served in the Detroit Area Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization for 17 years taking his "little" as a 6-year-old and staying with him up to and through his graduation from Michigan State University, financing his entire college expenses, an accomplishment he is very proud of.
After his last technology company was acquired just before covid hit in early 2020, Larry immediately became the business and operations manager for his wife Jennifer's very successful Real Estate Company and now operates as the Sales Manager, Business and Operations Manager for the Jennifer Vaughan Real Estate Group as part of Ansley Real Estate Christie's International. He knows the Lake Oconee area very well and he and The Jennifer Vaughan Team can help you with all of your real estate needs.
